The TBR Pile

I don't know about you, but my TBR pile (aka the "To-Be-Read-Pile") is constantly growing these days. There are just so many amazing books out there! Christian fiction used to mostly be made up of prairie romances and Biblical epics. Not anymore. There's something for just about anyone, and the quality continues to rise. This is a wonderful thing for a book maven like me who loves great fiction but doesn't want to fill my mind with some of the junk out there in secular fiction. This isn't to say there isn't some great stuff out there in the mainstream, but I think you know what I mean.

Above is a picture of my actual TBR pile. Several of these are books I'm reading to review, others are for pure enjoyment. Notice the top book. Perhaps if I read it first I might actually get to the others quicker? :)

So what about you? What's in your TBR pile these days?

Hey CJ!

My TBR is horrifyingly large but here is a selection:~

Feeling for Bones and Restorer's Son like you!
Par for the Course - Ray Blackston
A Crooked Path - Annette Smith
You Had Me at Goodbye - Tracey Bateman
Summer - KK (for TT!)
Finding Marie - S P Davis
and it goes on!!

Too funny, C.J. . . . I was planning something similar for my next post!

What's that I'm hearing? Oh yeah . . . Great Minds.

I would love to raid your Bell, Hinck and Downs. And that title, FEELING FOR BONES sounds intriguing.

Happy reading!
Peg.

Ooohhh, so many TBR. It's daunting really especially when you're working on your own novel.

Reading Yucatan Deep. Then Deadfall. Then it's up for grabs between Demon, The Pawn, Crown of Thorns, Hines' and Bell's new books, Downs' new book. Oh the list goes on and on.

Peg--Great minds ... I'll go for that! :) And I read the first chapter of Feeling For Bones and couldn't put it down. The author really has a knack for story.

Rel & Nicole--You are reading circles around me, ladies! Isn't it wonderful there are so many great books?
