"If you could say one thing to aspiring novelists, what would you say?"
I would stress the importance of meeting with a group of like-minded writers to stay encouraged, to read the best books on writing that they can find and to find a way to attend writer’s conferences each year.

Oh, so true! Last night I got together with a group of four other writers to start off a new writer's group in the area. We're all so excited about encouraging and learning from each other, so Debbie's advice is perfect!
