Write about what you’re passionate. Not necessarily what you know, but what you’re passionate about. You can always learn what you don’t know. But you can’t create passion.

This is so true! I did a university philosophy course where I wrote about something I knew and researched; I got the worst mark I'd ever gotten on a paper. My next paper was about something I was passionate about; I got a very good mark on it. Passion makes all the difference in your writing!
